From Zero to Hero #1

Every week, I always have someone ask me how to I improve (insert any exercise here). Whether it's a chick asking me how to improve her push ups or pull ups, or a guy asking me how to increase his bench or his squat, the fundamentals are the same. Practice! You're not going to improve your max deadlift by running. If you want to improve at anything, you have to think about the principles of fitness I talked about earlier - specificity. How do you improve your push ups? Well let's find out!

Perform the following routine for 3 sets of 12 repetitions in a superset (performing both exercises back to back with no rest) at least 3 times a week (with alternating days off) . Remember, last couple reps should feel challenging and always warm up with a light weight (4-6 reps should suffice).

Nothing makes you feel more like a hero than pushing a car out of ditch, a heavy weight off your chest, or sometimes, yourself off the floor. No matter where you start, this workout should have you going from a zero to a hero in no time!
