From Zero to Hero #4

Imagine yourself sitting on a chair. Your legs are bent, your back is up against the back rest and your hands are by your side. While you're sitting in the office, the sun is beaming through the window and you start to hear your favourite song. You reach over to your desk to have a sip of your cool, refreshing drink. You put the drink back down and a smile creeps up - what a beautiful summer day...

....then, your legs begin to shake. You start to panic. You look around to make sure no one is watching you, but before you can lift yourself up, the chair breaks and you fall on your ass. That's what it feels like to do a wall squat.

It seems like the simplest thing, knees and hips are bent at 90, back is against the wall along with your arms. Some people last 10 seconds, others last 3 minutes. What makes you go from a zero to a hero? Having the strength to do today what you couldn't do yesterday. (Man that sounds beautiful...) With that said, here's today's WOD!

Perform 3 sets of 12 (use a Kettlebell or Dumbbell for more of a challenge)

Body Weight Squats
Goblet Squats
Walking Lunges
Hip Thrusters
Step Ups
Single Leg Deadlifts

Next time, ask the office to spend a little extra on a decent chair... Hope you are all having a great weekend!
